THE ART OF NEIGHBORING
All of our lives have been significantly altered in an effort to limit the spread and impact of the cornavirus. Being deligent to practice social distancing and following the guidelines established by public officials is vital to our own safety and to the safety of others. However, as we engage in physical distancing practices, it’s important to note that there is a big difference between social distancing and social isolation. As the Church, we called to love our neighbors. If you are looking for some creative and safe ways to connect with your neighbors, click here.

DISCIPLESHIP EXPLORED COURSE
While fear grips our world – there is nothing better than reminding ourselves of the gospel and growing in our love of it. I want to encourage you to join in on a study through Paul’s letter to the Philippians over these coming weeks entitled, “Discipleship Explored.”
This course helps followers of Jesus turn up the gospel soundtrack to their lives, and goes beyond simply teaching the right moves – go to church, pray, read the Bible, share the gospel – and focuses on the music which drives discipleship: the love of Christ. The greatest love anyone can ever know.
This is ideal for believers at any stage of the Christian life.
If you are interested in joining this study online using Zoom, please sign up by clicking on the appropriate button below for login details.

ORDER OF WORSHIP
Pray through the liturgy below and watch this morning’s message…
CALL TO WORSHIP
Let’s continue celebrating the risen Christ and his victory over the grave, which he extends to us. Though we aren’t physically together, we are one in spirit through Jesus. We can still worship him together now as his church. So wherever you’re at, let’s read this together:
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
-Psalm 95:1-2
The Lord is worthy of our praise, so let’s sing and worship him now!
SONG: All Creatures of Our God and King
CONFESSION
More than ever, we feel the need for a savior. Someone to restore and renew our souls and this earth. As we prepare our hearts to confess our sins and our needs before God, let’s hear his word:
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. -Romans 3:23-24
God has brought us redemption through Jesus, and we can freely bring our needs, sins, and shortcomings to him.
SONG: Blessed Be Your Name
ASSURANCE
God has given us this beautiful assurance through Jesus:
Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. -2 Corinthians 5:17-19
GIVING
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. -1 John 3:16-18
Your giving has gone towards the work of supporting ministries serving in our local community, our country around the world through our partnerships with missionaries.
As God’s prized possessions, let’s take a moment and pass the virtual giving baskets. You can give online via Devonshire’s website or snail mail.
