This summer, Devonshire Church is partnering with WB Music Therapy to offer Here Comes Summer!
Here Comes Summer! is a half-day creative arts camp for children with special needs entering K-5th grade for the ‘23-’24 school year. Each day, campers will engage with music and art and get ready for the summer season to kick off!
The Here Comes Summer! Camp experience begins with love and the respectful presumption of intellect and will provide many opportunities for creative expression and support campers in their relationships with others.
*Here Comes Summer Camp is led by trained professionals and compassionate volunteers.
Registration Details
Cost: $125/week or $35/day
Dates of Camp: Monday, June 12 – Friday, June 16
Times: 9:30am-11:45am
Daily Schedule
9:30-9:50a Opening Large Group led by two board-certified music therapists from WB Music Therapy (WBMT)
10:00-10:20a Small Group Art or Small Group Music (Planned and implemented by a respective professional)
10:30-10:50a Small Group Art or Small Group Music (Planned and implemented by a respective professional)
11:00-11:20a Snack (planned and implemented by Devonshire Church parish members/volunteers)
11:30a-11:45p Closing Large Group led by WBMT
11:45a Dismissal
Requirement
● Campers need a buddy 16 yrs.+, or we will have a volunteer paired with a child.
